There are lots of cute beach towns along the coast so you can just drive and stop whenever something strikes your interest. Savannah and St. Augustine are only about an hour away so well within a day trip. Jealous of the private pool :-)

Jacksonville is fabulous and the beaches nearby are beautiful; have so much fun!!
when i was in town, we visited some incredible seafood markets right on the harbor. they cook up fresh seafood right as it is brought in. definitely check some of these out!!

Jacksonville has tons of places to shop and eat. You can always go to St. Simons Island, GA they have tons of neat shops.

I'd probably just stay on the island and hang out in Fernadina. I grew up vacationing there and the downtown area is really cute. You can also spend a day at Fort Clinch.
If I did a day trip I'd probably go to Cumberland Island.
