I was just at the Rui in November for a destination wedding! We actually had rain one day, the day we left, it was beautiful, the resort was fab and the locals are amazing!! I also had friends go last June and they had fab weather. You can't control the weather, if it rains, I am sure you and the new hubby can find something to occupy yourselves with! ;)

Thank you! I am glad you like the resort, there were some people saying not to stay there but it looked great for the price.

I hope you have great weather! We will be staying there for our honeymoon the first week in May. Praying for great weather also! We are so excited about seeing Costa Rica and hoping we are pleased with Riu Guanicaste! (There seems to be a lot of positive things said about RIU on here!) Hope you have a wonderful time!

Thank you! I hope you have a wonderful time! We have not yet booked but i have been using bookit.com to get the entire package plus ziplining and some other excursions. :)

I hope you have a blast! Im sure we will have a great time any place we go! :)

We are going to do excursions as well, but we found that it's cheaper to book through Riu.com. (It's through the hotel directly). I think our total stay for the AI week was around $1500. (you can't beat that). We aren't including airfare in that because we are flying down on buddy passes. But, you may want to call the resort itself and discuss the pricing because sometimes it tends to be cheaper!
