We went to Sandals Negril last year. It's about an hour and a half bus ride from the airport. It was really nice. We didn't leave the resort though, other than to go on a booze cruise. I don't know anything about the Couples resort but I imagine it's probably similar.

We were going to book there but we found out that there's not a whole lot of nightlife....which we might not even want some nights....but we still wanted the option. Apparently it's a pretty calm and relaxed atmosphere if that is what you are looking for. W are going for 10 days so the travel agent said we would get bored pretty quickly
