Anyone honeymooning in Paris?  If so I would love to hear what you have booked, etc. We were thinking of going to two other places, maybe London and Rome.  Any other recs?

How long do you have for your HM including travel time?

We're planning a trip right now (not a HM) including Paris and London and I'm pumped!  From people I've talked to and articles I've read, for major cities like those you listed ideally you should spend 3 days minimum.

For what turned out to be our engagement trip (he proposed our second night in London) we did 3 nights in London, two nights in Paris (via Eurostar) and then one last night in London (with a view of the Eye and Big Ben!)

Great trip. We saw a lot but kept it to our own pace. I agree with PP about 3 days in each city. Would have been nice to have one more day in Paris to do some of the less common museums. Happy Planning!

WE did 4 nights inparis after a a tour of Ireland.

We booked through Priceline to get a deal on a hotel & just sort of wandered around with no real plan.

I just went to Paris and London in April of this past year and it was AMAZING! The weather was perfect, sunny 70's the whole week. It wasn't my HM..in fact it was with my bridesmaids but it was fabulous!

We just booked our honeymoon to Paris and London. We used a website called Europeandestinations.com and they were very affordable. I am pretty excited. :-)

My fiance and I are meeting in Paris (we're long distance until the wedding Frown) for engagement photos and just to be able to see each other!! We're staying at the 7 hotel in the Latin Quarter.... it is truly fabulous and they have some awesome suites that would be perfect for a honeymoon! http://www.sevenhotelparis.com

Also I would suggest dinner onboard a boat on the Seine at night. ROMANCE! There are several different companies that offer this and it is available at different price points.

If you are champagne people, consider going to Moet and Chandon for a tasting (have to take a train out of the city). Or just go to the top of the Eiffel Tower... there is a champagne bar up there!

Honestly,  if I were you I would skip London. There are so much more interesting places in Europe.  I've been to many cities/countries in Europe.  I'd do italy if I were you.  Venice, Rome, Tuscany, Amalfi coast, Cinque terre, the lake region, Sicily.. all of it is amazing. Italy is my top country.  Also consider Prague and Budapest.. both amazing. Or if you want something relaxing and laid back, go to one of the Bealeric Islands (just not in winter). Paris is a must though.
