Small world! I got my Master's at BG...live in Toledo now. The Windmill is pretty famous. Or not...I just like to think it is to justify the amount of money I spent renting it.

You must be thinking Bowling Green KY. I'm in Bowling Green Ohio. The three hours thing was not making sense to me since you are in TN. I have actually never been to Bowling Green Kentucky.

Don't feel bad Whit. Everytime I say I went to Bowling Green State people think I mean Kentucky. Unless you went to the University here or are a big fan of the National Tractor Pull (the town's main claim to fame), no one has heard of Bowling Green Ohio.

Story of the Windmill...hmm.. Well, not like I did research on it or anything (okay...I did). It's about 80 years old, built to power a fountain in a stoning quarry behind the house, too windy in BG (Ohio), so the windmill arms are "locked" in the attic. It's been a house since the 40's...three floors, round rooms, spiral staircase, toilet in the middle of the bedroom...you know, normal house stuff.

Well people around here would just look at you funny because the school is Western Kentucky University. Funny thing...I have lived here for 10 years. I go to the university of ky. Just learned that there is also a Ky state. I thought they were just saying UK funny.
