Hi everyone . We are getting married on Sept 22 which is Fall Equinox. I'm stuck between doing a regular one or two colour themed wedding and doing a nature, fall leaves and baskets and horns of plenty kind of thing in dark purple, orange, yellow, brown and cream (which is probably way too many colours). I've looked at lots of stuff online but not sure it is anything I can actually do. Its great for a designer, but I'm definitely design challenged. The thing is, I've kind of lost my creative flow because the logistics so far with the venue and reception have been so problematic. Does any one have any ideas on Equinox ideas we can add to our tables/room/ceremony to bring in the outdoorsy feel? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I think your Equinox theme sounds very pretty and very doable. There are lots of things you can do to bring the outdoors in.
You can use baskets of fall flowers like mums as your centerpieces, or you can sprinkle fall leaves on tables. Use leaf, tree, pumpkin, or squash motifs on stationary. I don't know if you're of a religion that celebrates the Equinox, like Wicca, but if you are you may be able to draw from that for inspiration.
There's lots you could do. A bare branched tree holding escort cards, a cornucopia for cards, apple cider served, apple butter as favors...I love designing things so I could go on. :D
