Jenga Guest Book

So my FI and I decided we really liked the idea of the Jenga guestbook.  (we are already using Game boards as our centerpieces and giving away decks of cards as our favor) I was curious if anyone had actually done or known someone who used this idea.  I am curious what type of pens they used for the guest to sign with.  I'm afraid of bleeding or fading over time.  Especially since the jenga wood is unfinished.  I think it would be very similar to people who used Wooden puzzles as guests books. 

Any ideas?

    This idea was on here a few months ago.

    If you're having a small wedding, it could work. Otherwise, you'd have to buy two (or more) Jenga games which is just silly.

    Have Sharpies for guests. You and DH can always trace over them in paint later at home if you want.

    Though we would need to buy 2 sets for the wedding to me it's not silly.  We love board games and at least this will be something we would keep, cherish, and play occasionally.  I personally know sharpies don't work on wood solely because of the bleeding that they do.  i'd also prefer not to have to redo everyone's well wishes.

    Well then it sounds like you're set on your idea.

    (FWIW, I have a Jenga game where we wrote on the pieces with Sharpie and it's fine, but maybe you have sweaty fingers)

    ETA: No one is going to be able to fit any "well wishes" on a Jenga piece. You'd just likely be tracing over their signatures in paint if permanancy is a concern and zomg bleeding sharpie would be absolutely devastating. Paint or paint pens wouldn't dry fast enough and are too messy to ask guests to use at your reception.

    I've seen sharpie on unfinished wood work last. Any permanent marker should do, or even regular ink pens should be fine.
