We are having a USMC ceremony/reception, but we're trying not to go OVER THE TOP (I've seen some pretty tacky USMC themes). Anywho, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for center pieces? Our venue seatle maybe 200, and the cealing are high, and not much natural light...

USMC is military correct?  Try posting this on the Military Brides board also (to the left under Special Topic Wedding Boards).

Are there eagles in the logo?  Maybe you could do something with that.

For centerpieces, I think I would just stick with red, gold, and black, and not try to do anything with the USMC emblem.   Candles, feathers, rose petals, rocks, whatever you want. If you want to do something a little bit more "Marine Corps" then maybe you can get cookies decorated with the eagle, globe, and anchor, or with the pixelated camouflage patern.  You could also do a USMC-themed groom's cake.

I would go with just the colors. Like tie black and gold ribbon around vases and fill with red roses. And like pp said a Usmc grooms cake would look nice.
