Worst wedding favors I've received were handmade soaps that smelled awful. Doubt I'll ever use them, feel bad about throwing them out though...

A Hawaiian lei like the plastic flowered one you can buy at a party store. I know it matched the theme of the party but really what am I going to do with that!

I can't stand those funky smelling candles with the couple's name on it.

The worst was a personalized room freshner with the couple's name, wedding date and a quote saying "Wishing you a breath of fresh air." It smelled like an industrial cleaner from a truck stop bathroom.

Donations.

I don't care if I get a dinky trinket, but couples shouldn't give to THEIR charity, and then try to pretend they did something "for me." They didn't.

I attended a wedding where a donation was made "in my honor" to a cause to I vehemently oppose.

Do the donations, but keep your guests out of it.

"I'm not crazy. I've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years."

One of those plant a seed favors from a wedding in winter. Those are only good for a few weeks, I don't know why the bride had her heart set on those despite the time of year.

I haven't been to very many weddings, but I do not like personalized wedding koozies. It's even worse when there is some inside joke printed on them that I am clearly not a part of. They are so cheap and I never use them! Whenever I think of a koozie I picture a frat guy drinking Busch Light. Very un-bridal.

Not getting a favor because there was only enough candy for about 1/3 guests at the candy bar. Or nobody restocked it. Either way there should be enough for everybody or nothing at all.

Lol, I thought we were in the clear until I read this!! haha My FI loves music so we thought of doing this to share with our friends and fam. Another gf did this for her wedding and she still gets requests for copies. We'll see, the other option is a well stocked cookie bar!:-)

I hate anything personalized. I also hate Jordan Almonds. Really, I've yet to find a wedding favor that I actually like or found useful. Candy bar is great, but only if it has good candy on it. Way too often I see candy bars that the bride took so much time finding the exact shade of her colors that the candy all tasted like crap.

I do actually like koozies. I live at the beach, and use them all the time.
