Should you register? (The answer is a collective “YES!”) Chat about when, where, and what to register for here.
I know this is a week after your post :) so i thought i'd just do a new thread- and couldn't figure out how to PM you. Ugh- blonde day! If you can't figure out what to register for, register for stuff

If you can't figure out what to register for, register for stuff at Bed Bath and Beyond. What I DIDN"T know was that anything you return (even without a receipt) but if it was on your registry- they'll give you cash back. Other stores will do store credit alot of times.

this is what a friend told me. She had 400 people invited to her wedding (Arabic wedding) and she said people would BUY!  She kept having to add more because everything had been bought- so she registered for duplicates of things they had and returned them.

it sounds mean, but most people will never know. And they truly want to buy you things, which is so great! Hope this helps!

That's a horrible, deceptive thing to do.  I'd end a friendship with someone if I found out they did this.

Please don't.

Yeah, I think that is quiet a snaeky thing to do as well........But oddly enough when i registerd our registry "consultant" actaully suggested to us that if we coudn't find enough items then we should just register for a whole bunch of towel and than we could return them all for cash. Tacky, in my opinion.

I ended up just going though the house and finding items that we could "up-grade".
