My yoga instructor was asking about this Brazil Butt Lift thing yesterday. I had to google it for her. She had to wonder if the people of Brazil have exceptionally lifted butts...

Lol well KD, I've never been to Brazil, so I wouldn't know for sure. But I think the guy who does the workouts is Brazilian. And he's ridiculous, but because I'm nuts, I trust him with my booty.

This might be a stupid question, but does the butt workout only focus on your butt? I thought spot-reducing was a myth.

My ass and thighs and calves are killing me right now. There is also an ab workout and there are cardio workouts too, so it's not JUST butt workouts. But it's a big part of it!

AATB- not implying that you've ever had cellulite, but if you did, has doing the BBL dvd's helped with that? I have a very muscular and large behind which I'm 99% happy about, but I'd love to get rid of the cellulite.

I haven't been doing it long enough to notice too much of a difference, ewhit (I am determined to go longer than two days of doing it this week even though I feel like I'm going to die) but to be fair, I don't have much cellulite. I used to use a Nivea cream (I think it's called no more cellulite or something, it's a gel) on my ass and back of my legs, lol. But that was really a vanity thing. I am not sure if it ever worked too much if at all. Sorry I can't be too much help! I'll keep you posted on my butt though.

Hey random news/editorial question for you: I wrote an article about my apartment complex being demolished and the way the rental market is forcing out low-income families. I submitted it as a letter to the editor but also to the person who wrote an article about the tear-down. Haven't heard back but really think it's important to have the issue brought to light. Any other avenues I should try?

The letter to the editor was a good idea. You could also send the letter to other media outlets in your area - radio and television news as well. Maybe bring it up with local radio talk show hosts or producers as a topic.

If you're really feeling ambitious you could get together with some other tenants in the building and write a press release, send it to all the local media outlets and then hold a press conference about what has happened and about how its affecting you. I'm sure all the tenants have different stories to tell - about how long they've lived there or why it's difficult for them to find new housing. The more the better!
