Anything TK related you need to get off your chest?

I have two flames today.

1. The bride who will have an engagement that is almost three years long when it's all said and done and was bitching that her FI's brother is also now getting engaged. Her anger was stemming from her FMIL not getting her the guest list fast enough (even though she asked for it two years before their wedding date and they still hvae a year and a half to go)

2. The bride who was pissed that her cousin was about to get engaged and that people cared more about her cousin's engagement than her own.

I have a crossboard vent/flame/AYG from E. myusername1234 (formerly calibud something with a yahoo email account I believe?) is obnoxious.

I believe it was the Confessions thread (I don't remember and now can't find it because there are so many "do I add a plus one" threads) where she posted a really heavy, heavy statement. A few people responded "whoa" and that was about it.

Next thing you know she created a thread asking how to delete her account because she doesn't "fit in". The way I read it was that she was all butthurt about writing such a heavy confession and that people were posting about puppies and what not and not responding to her. It was really awkward. Then everyone started to play nice and say "oh hope everything gets better" which I found lame. A few hours go by and she's back with this new screen name undergoing a "fresh start." Oooookay.

On that note, I think it's kind of lame to flame new posters who ask one or two dumb questions and never come back. Not that it's wrong, but I just don't usually even remember the names of the posters unless they go on a posting rampage.

Calibud did seem to just want attention. Her story was really sad, but to just confess that you were glad your ex committed suicide and then complain when you didn't get the response you wanted aka enough attention just felt off.

Yep! I had to use two pans. The point was to have a bunch of leftovers for FI and I to pack easy lunches, but it was still way too much. I'd probably cut it down to 8 or 10 next time.

so here is a AKA, but for all of y'all: do you ever think about how many people potentially are lurking? like at any given time 100 people could be reading your post about how you got in a car accident or had spaghetti for lunch. its really creepy when you think about it.

Oh, yes. DH was comfortable with me having photos of us online, but he wanted me to put a hit counter into my bio because e was curious about how many people who weren't my "Internet friends" would look at it. I got over 500 hits the first day. Pretty sure the 50-ish regs didn't look at it 10 times each.

I also remember Fishy posting her wedding video in one thread, and it got so much traffic that the server crashed.

Koda, CCF, and Poli know how to party- with crazy eyes!

Basically the poster's friend is demanding pre wedding parties to be thrown for her. After she decided to take $20,000 from her parents to have an elopment in Hawaii because the $20,000 she was given wouldn't get her the wedding of her dreams.

Nothing to do with that. That supposedly was a girl that tried to take a picture off of some chicks blog and the blogger lady had it set up where if you copied a picture off of her site it gave you some porn picture instead of what you thought you copied.

These were actual pictures of children.
