I think it's been fun here lately. I feel like we've had to come in and chase out the whiners, like cleaning house. It's not the old SB, but it's a nice little refuge from E ocassionally.

I agree with this. I don't think anyone is trying to resurrect the old culture of the board. I just started posting here when I realized that some of my favorite regs from E were over here too.

To be honest, I just kind of started to realize that I didn't enjoy a good number of the regs on E and I know that they definitely didn't enjoy me. I just don't see the point in hanging out there all the time if I was truly feeling like that.

And maybe that's a better way to put it. It's just changing. There seems to be a good deal of animosity some days (re: cliques, off boards, etc) and the divide is very noticeable to me.

In FFF last week, people were saying cew didn't contribute- that she just comes in and says 'donkey butthole' or something and leaves. It was stupid; I think it's just that some senses of humor aren't appreciated on E.

God Missy, I try not to. She just pops up and makes me want to throttle her. In my defense, I did (try) to post a makeup thread with her. She has said that she was wrong in her $7 BM thread, and seems to want to put the past behind her. I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt, and tried to give her advice on how to "start anew," the the goddamn knot ate my post, and I wasn't wasting another 20 min to rewrite it. I'm taking it as a sign.

I don't think they said she doesn't contribute, they said they don't think she's funny. But I thought it was only 1 or 2 people that said it, so I didn't think Cew would leave the board over it. I just think it's funny that some of the key people that I would put in a clique/OB are you guys who are saying you are sick of cliques/OB drama. It's like irony or something.

Thanks ladies. I guess I just never really understand the need to establish whether or not I'm funny. I feel like it comes up a lot and it just seems strange.

People prefer different senses of humor. It just seems like a matter of preference that doesn't really need to be hashed out every few months.

But I do think the dislike for me runs deeper than my sense of humor. And I do agree that I don't contribute a lot other than randomness. That's just me.

What I was about to say was... that with all of the talk about cliques, I found it interesting that no one could (or would) identify them when asked. I followed that post, because I'm oblivious and was geniunely interested in seeing whom these perceived cliques consisted of (and to see if I was unknowingly a part of one). The only one that I remember being identified was the Heels/Bec/Cew relationship, and I myself have never seen that as a clique. All of the sudden it went from, "Yes, there are DEFINITELY cliques on this board!" to "Well, I guess that there aren't REALLY cliques..."
