5) if you could own really expensive shoes would you? Probably not. I'm a Target/Payless shoe kind of girl. I have a pair of cloth ballet flats from Target that are over 5 years old and still going strong.

6) are you a Mac or a PC? PC all the way. Mac's drive me crazy (mostly because the school computers are PC and the kids ask for questions about their Mac's. They also don't understand that they are two different operating systems and things can't go from one to the other easily.

7) what is one thing FI/DH/SO does that drives you nutso...He is constantly making us 10 minutes late to everything. Argh.

4) what colour do you never wear and why? I have hardly ANY yellow clothing, because unless it's summer and I've been going to the lake or to the beach and have a healthy color going on, it washes me out.

5) if you could own really expensive shoes would you? Um, HELL YES! Unfortunately shoes are something I always skimp on. I'd like to have a funky pair for every outfit. I'm making sure my wedding shoes are way cute.

7) what is one thing FI/DH/SO does that drives you nutso... So this is dumb, but he sleeps really sloppily. And by this I mean that when we share a bed, he tosses around so much that it twists the blankets around, untucks them, they get all wadded up - etc. I'm kinda anal and I like to have my blankets straight, evenly layered - and I barely move at night. Of course, this isn't a deal breaker - but we don't argue at all, really, and this is the only thing that bugs me

What is this Sarah's House program?

I want to change my restaurant choice to Mimosa (ww.mimosafusion.com). It's only 2 miles from my house and THE BEST restaurant in the world if you like Thai/American fusion type food.

Julez I do that to poor Scott all the time. I forget if I've told him things or my parent's the thing, so he's constantly going "I know hon, you told me that yesterday". It's gotten worse over the summer because I don't have much of a social life so I think I just want to talk to someone.

5) if you could own really expensive shoes would you? Only if they were as comfortable as Clarks. I wear Chakos about 360 days a year, so my feet hate heels.

6) are you a Mac or a PC? Both. I run Mac at home, and PC at work. I love Mac for ease of use, but I use high processing power PC only programs like ArcGIS at work.

7) what is one thing FI/DH/SO does that drives you nutso... He is a distracted individual. I mean seriously absent-minded professor guy. When I was on crutches and the biggest, most physically challenging event of my week (eta: was going to the farmers market), and I was near the end of my endurance, we approached our bread vendor. He opened up my camp chair, which he lugs around for me, set it down, turned it to face the table, and pushed it in under the table. Then he stared off into space and left me hanging. Our bread vendor looked at him, at the chair, back to him, and then at me and mouthed the words... WTF? He's supremely sweet, but if he were a dog he'd say- SQUIRREL!

I went short shopping this summer and got frustrated because I couldnt find exactly what I wanted so I just never bought more.

I guess what im really annoyed with is he always fails to ask me if things need to be hung up, I hang up a lot of my clothes so that they dont shrink because I wear stuff moderately fitted but not tight and I hate being uncomfortable. I have a pair of black pants I cant be bothered to wear anymore because theyre too tight because he shrunk them.

Nebb, Scott was forbidden from doing my laundry early on in our relationship. He always thought I was whining when I said he was shrinking my jeans all the time, to the point where I couldn't wear them even though they were originally 2 sizes too big. So when I started losing weight I put on a pair of way too big pants, to the point where you could grab a good 2 inches of material on the side of the leg and showed him. Threw them in the washer, dried them, and put them back on. Fvckers were skin tight when I took them out. Now he's very careful to put my jeans to the side for me to wash later.

Yeah, FI is fairly good about laundry. He does the laundry 80% of the time and he pretty much knows what goes it and what doesn't and if he doesn't know he just hangs it. The one time he shrank something it was because when he asked about it (I was in another room) I thought he meant a different shirt and of course the one he was actually holding shouldn't have gone in.

Now I just have to train him to put the stuff away in the right spot. For months after he moved in I thought I had no socks but really he just kept putting them in the wrong drawer!

Rodeo, I don't know if they have one near you but Z Pizza and Uno's Pizza have excellent gluten free pizza choices. Also it never hurts to ask a restaurant if they have a gluten free menu. We went to Olive Garden the other night and they actually had one. It's a lot smaller and doesn't have as many options but it's something.

Hmm, I have never heard of either of those so I am guessing that we don't have any around here. I never would have figured that Olive Garden had gluten free choices since they are pretty much based on pasta.

I think the biggest problem for me is that faster food places don't have much choice. Sometimes we just need to eat something fast but it is hard to find something that I can eat in a college town full of sandwich shops and pizza places!

I shouldn't complain too much though since most places have an online menu now that denotes gluten free choices, even if there are only a few. Sometimes it is just a problem though, like tomorrow I have orientation for grad school and they are serving lunch. I had to e-mail the program coordinator to see what we were having and whether or not I had to pack a lunch <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-undecided.gif" border="0" alt="Undecided" title="Undecided" />.

Ugh yeah, fast food is definitely a no go. My parents are both gluten free and normally just get a hamburger and take off the bun, or a chicken sandwich and just eat the chicken/veggies.

One of my friends is allergic to pretty much everything so I'm trying really hard to make sure she has food at my party Saturday. She is allergic to gluten, milk, egg whites, apples, peaches, pears, oranges, lemons, limes, macadamia nuts, cashew nuts and a couple other things. She also can't have soy or real butter because she is taking hormones and they screw with the hormones.

Yeah, my FI wanted McDonalds tonight so I had a hamburger without the bun. Not very exciting but oh well.

I shoudn't complain though because what your friend has sounds really awful! It must be really hard for her to travel with that many allergies.

I have to say though this no gluten thing is definitely helping me loose weight. I used to eat so much bread and pasta and now that I am eating more meat and veggies the weight is coming off.

Tonight he started bitching to me about his job. He has a pretty awesome paying job and I know its stressful but this week and the next are so stressful for me with double graduate classes (finishing my MBA while starting law school) that my hair is literally falling out and I'm living on tums. Not to mention that my doctors don't want me stressed (ya okay thats realistic). So now I'm stressed about being stressed. I usually would care and listen to him but tonight I wanted to reach through the phone and scream. I love him though. Rant over.
