Good morning!

On my way to work today my battery light came on and my steering wheel tightened up so Matt is going to come get it after class and look at it. He thinks it might need an alternator. I hope it's not a sign as to how the day's going to go.

Morning!

That sucks Edie, hopefully it's nothing major.

I got my Sausage McMuffin and Hasbrown on the way to work today, so I'm a happy camper. I'm also craving orange juice like it's nobody's business, so I see more of that in my future today.

My boss is away all week, so I had to run our weekly update meeting with our engineers in India. That's always fun. I think I talk too fast.

We made a ginger!

That stinks Edie. Hopefully it is just a battery, they are cheaper.

Good morning all. I am training my replacement today. He started yesterday and I think we will be training one on one for a few days. He seems to pick things up quickly. I have a week and a half to learn most of my job because that's when the season starts.

I'm so over car repairs. Why must they be so annoying and expensive?

I'm exhausted, but it's my own fault. H and I stayed up late both watching Justified and fixing up his greenhouse. He's been pulling some late nights trying to get ready to leave, probably early Friday morning, so I've been staying up mostly just to spend time with him.

On the plus side, I am currently enjoying YoCrunch. I found it at the store a few days ago and am pleasantly surprised. I don't even like yogurt, but getting to mix in M&Ms and oreo crunch pieces makes it so tasty.

Idk how true this is, but FI was claiming to me that car makers could really make cars that rarely break and can last for 20+ years if they wanted to, but they don't because less cars would be sold. Plus cars that work would be obsolete within a decade because of all the new technology that comes out. That intrigued me a bit.

I'm glad it's Wednesday already. Back to having weeks that fly by! It was nice finally being able to work out again last night after being sick. It felt so good! Today my little brother turns 18. Look out world. He's the one that spent his year in Austria last year and is planning on going back this summer and staying there for a few yers at least. He just started dating a new girl a couple months ago and they both want her to come with him.... Even though she speaks no German and has been accepted to some really good schools over here. Not to mention they've known eachother for a short amount of time. I wish I could convey to him what a horrible idea that is.

I haven't heard today so far. He made it through yesterday and H actually got to talk to him. He isn't able to speak, but his mom called and said everyone was at the hospital saying their good-byes and that she would hold the phone up if H wanted to say anything, so he at least got to tell him good-bye over the phone. He said it was really hard, but his mom said his grandpa managed a smile so I think it was really good for H that he got to at least say something.

In less depressing news, H fixed his greenhouse up with a mister for all the veggie sprouts and blocked that area off with plastic. When the water is running, it sounds just like a rainforest in there. I could sit in there and relax and read all day, if it weren't so cramped and tiny.

k, now I feel weird because for some reason I thought I had read in yesterday's morning thread that your H's grandpa had passed..only awkward because I said I was sorry for your loss! Good to hear that he got to see him.

It's Wednesday...I am not sure what I think beyond that. I have decided that my and DHs schedule after work suck - we barely see each other anymore. On weekends we see each other plenty and I know we see each other more than a lot of couple but I still hate it. Tonight we will see each other at 9:30 - and I am sure we will be asleep by 11 so we get that whole hour and a half together - and that's if he doesn't work on his course for a while. Bleh.

Good morning! It's a pretty, sunny day here (even though it's not supposed to be nearly as warm as it has been). I have a bit of a late start today (first client is at 11), but after that I will be going and going without a break, except driving. I have a two clients, then a school meeting (which I am DREADING), and then 3 more clients. All spread all over the place. But I'm excited because today is my first day of seeing clients all by myself!

Good Morning.

My house smells like soup. Normally a good thing because it means last night's dinner is in the process of become tonight's dinner. BUT. Usually I'm not home during the process and I have a feeling that I'm going to be starving all day because of it. Stupid delicious soup tempting me.

Easy day for me today. Household chores this morning, watch a little tv, art class this evening. Low-key and pretty darn perfect.

I do need to look up some exercises. My obliques are uneven. Like I need to work one side more. Looking in the mirror, I'm definitely uneven. WTF?

There's not enough coffee to get me through this morning. I was at work until 10:15 last night and back by 7 am. it's gross.

This was the post. I guess I missed the likely.

It's a crappy day here. H's grandpa likely passed away last night (waiting on the call from his mom) so everything is kind of in limbo right now until we know for sure what's going on. H will be going up north this weekend so today he has to bring his truck in to get fixed. Yay for spending money we don't have. It looks like it's about to pour so I know he'll be super stressed missing out on what could be a day's work with having to leave. But if he can get his truck in, at least we still have mine even though it will mean only having 1 car the rest of the week. Just overall kind of stressful right now. That's my debbie downer post of the day.

Morning everyone!

FI is away at a conference and is expected back tonight. That meant I slept alone last night and I HATE it. It is so weird. However, I did notice one thing that was nice... when I sleep alone in the bed, the sheets barely get out of place so it is easy peasy to make it in the morning. When it is FI and I the sheets are in complete disarray/off the bed and I have to pretty much remake the whole bed in the morning. Also, I am only 60% positive I shut off the oven this morning...

Rent. I usually don't forget things like that so I'm sure my mind is playing tricks on me. Also, I have nothing in it or hanging on it and it was only at about 300* so I'm hoping that's low enough so it will be fine if for some weird reason I did leave it on.

The neighbors that live downstairs seem to have their extended family living with them for periods of time and this happens to be one of those times, so hopefully if things ever got smokey/smelly they'd notice.

Morning Ladies!

Another lovely day at work.

Sesh- I guess we all had reading fail yesterday. I hope he hangs on till you H gets there. T & P's!

Last night we did Pilates and I think my instructor is trying to kill me, but I did it! We've been trying to kick it up a notch, but I really need to find something to do in on the other 5 days ;)

Found out yesterday I get to go with H at the end of March to his workshop, So we're going to Oxford, England. I'm so excited because the workshop is only Wed-Thurs-Fri, so we are leaving the Friday before so we can go to Brussels as well.
Cant wait!

Sesh, that greenhouse sounds amazing. I love the sound of water/rain.

Not much on tap for me today. Work then getting my hairs done. I hate how long it takes but I love being able to read for that long.

Well wtf. I just got an e-mail from the mom of one of my students that they're leaving for their yearly Colorado vacation on Friday morning and aren't coming back till next Wednesday. My student is all upset that she's missing the Valentine's/100 days party next Tuesday. Well lady, if you would read the stuff I sent home in her folder TWO WEEKS ago, maybe I could have recheduled it. Her parents irk me so much because they never read stuff I send home and they have a nanny that picks her up and drops her off, so I can't verbally tell stuff to the parents either when she's picked up. And this is a yearly trip? Thanks for the only 48 hours of notice. Geesh.

And am I having a brainfart as to who Rach is?

Chels - Do you really have to switch it? I mean, back in the day when I was going to miss a party at school, no one made special accomodations for me... I missed it, and that was that. Can you save her favors or something of the like for when she returns?

She's from "back in the day" when there used to be a P& before the E. I'm blanking on what her SN was, but it had a rach in there.

I don't see why you would move a party for one student anyway? Especially when they are missing for an optional trip and it's something that is calendar driven, like both of those events. Her parents are choosing to take her out of school for something fun; I think changing your schedule would send the wrong message.

I'm not changing it. I could have if I had been given more notice, but these parents love parties like this and literally will request off work to come to them, so it would mess a bunch of parent sup. And I'm not doing that for one student. I know its still only 1 out of 7. But still. I find it really rude that they give me two days notice that she will be gone for a week and missing a party, and don't think it's a big deal to move it.

Morning all. Sesh, glad your H was able to talk to his grandfather one last time. I know that must have meant a lot to both of them.
I'm am ready for my Cirque show! I can't wait. I'm so excited. H did great, he ended up getting us 2nd row seats, just to the left of the stage. It's going to be fantastic!

In other news, I'm somewhat surprised and disappointed that Santorum took CO. I was hoping for a Ron Paul win.
