Hi,

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to the flower girl dresses found in most bridal shops. One of my flower girls lives out of state, and her mom is also a bridesmaid, so I feel really bad asking her to pay $100 more dollars for her daughter's dress.

Has anyone had a great experience with any online retailer? We're getting desperate.

Check department stores. Macys, Kohls, Target, will all have pretty spring dresses for Easter that will work well.

My flower girls wore a dress from JC Penney's. They bought it on sale around Easter for $30 each.

I am on vacation. We went to a Burlington Coat Factory. They have amazing dresses right now. i would have bought one for my daughter to wear as a FG in my own wedding except our colors haven't been finalized. They were all under 40 dollars too I believe.

Ditto department stores - our FG dresses were in the $30-$40 range from Kohls.

Try flowergirldressforless.com. My FSIL has ordered her daughter mult FG dresses from this site, and just ordered another for her for my wedding. The girl is only 4 and this will be her 5th wedding!

I picked up my FG dress at Ross for $16. I was thrilled, but it did take a few random stops into the store checking on what they have.

Register for Zulily! It's basically Groupon for moms of small children, and it's almost all clothes.
That's what I did, and I had so much luck! Granted my wedding is VERY casual so I got them fun white dresses they could wear again, but they have great stuff. Be prepared to be bombarded with emails, but seriously, it was so worth it.

I second zulilly! they had a deal this past weekend for "cinderella couture" dresses and i found the perfect flower girl dress for $21.99. they'll send you daily emails so you can see what type of clothes they have deals on that day.
