I thought that I sent pictures to you??
It came in at the beginning of June, but I didn't go and try it on until the beginning of August.The store is actually keeping it for me until alterations start late next spring!
It was SO fun to try it on again, and know that it was actually MINE and not the sample! lolBut the bummer is, the earrings I bought don't go with my dress at.all!
Shall I email you pics my dear?

No... seriously, the earrings do NOT go! lolEven my mom agreed. I think i'm going to keep it simple with pearls. I found a few nice pieces on Etsy, but i'm just going to wait a bit to order them.I hate having things sent to my parents place while we're homeless ;) lol
I know that I still have a lot to do, but I just have to take it one step at a time.I was going through my big binder of wedding goodness last night, and started checking things off of my list.I'm getting more and more excited as we get closer to that one year mark!It's hard to believe that we've already been engaged for so long! lolOh... definitely wrap your dress in a sheet. Apparently those garment bags that they give you don't help all that much in the way of making sure your dress doesn't discolor. I also read that you shouldn't hang it for a long period of time, but rather wrap it in a sheet and lay it somewhere flat, like on a bed.Watch your email... i'll be sending pics in 2!

Damn, I'm going to have to look at the pictures when I get home. My phone is so not email friendly.You ended up with crystal chandelier-like earrings, didn't you? Eh, you could always put them for sale on the Trash to Treasure board & I'm sure you'd get some if not all of your money back! Someone would snatch those up quick because they are gorgeous.What etsy sellers have you checked out? I'm obsessed with luxedeluxe's pieces ($$$$ though!) and might get her sow drop earrings but I"m still indecisive. Her stuff is SO pretty:My accordian folder is busting at the seams. I should probably go through & weed out the nonsense we no longer need. :]I really need to figure out a new storage regimen for my wedding gown!

Damn you two! I chose a bad day to be to busy at work to knot! :) I always miss the good threads! ;) Kat...I agree that your 1st earring didn't match as nicely as they could have. I know this is like the 234329847th time I've said this, but your dress is so stunning...I think a nice set of pearls would be mag-ne-fike! Stef. Take. Your. Dress. Down. Now. Seriously. I want you to smell like roses the day of...not DB nasty plastic! An update on the dress. I have paid the deposit and they're waiting until January to actually order the dress for me. They said it typically takes 6 months for Mr. Alexander's masterpieces...but it can quite often be around 4. Either way...June leaves me 3 months to visit my Aunt for alternations. A and i decided on a DJ. Yet another thing that's above our budget but VERY much worth it. If I could sing at the mountain top because I've got that checked...I would! :) Kat-have a great weekend at the cottage this weekend! Stef...what are you guys doing?

4 months as of today for me too! Whoo hoo! I have most everything taken care of except the shoes, and I still need to send of the music and photo list. I need to find someone to make our desserts as well. And buy the wedding rings. So i guess there is still a lot to do lol. But the big stuff is done at least. I am so excited to go on our honeymoon! We have never traveled together so its going to be exciting. Well, this is the home stretch! :)
