i need a simple budget freindly idea for pews in church. im not a fan on the pre-made bows, they remind me of bows on funeral flowers. are flowers are red roses and white lillys.

 pomanders? They also sell those single flower vases that could be stuck to the side of the pews, but that might get expensive.

 Im with LTB, or can you just go without?? Unless you need to offset some bad church vibes, I don't think anyone would notice if u went without! We just don't have the $$ so we cut any decor for the church, then again I like it without anything.... just depends on what works for you...

 I think these are really nice. You said you are not a fan of pre made bows but what about hand tied ones? I doing one with a gold 3 inch hand tied bow with a single orchid for $12 each. I'm doing every other row except 1st & last to save $ too :) The flowers attached to the pew looks elegant to me.

 Inspiration here from another knottie, we are using chair sashes to decorate the pews.  It cost me $17 bucks including shipping :)

 Oh my goodness, Kudos for the chair sash idea. I had been looking for ANYTHING other than tulle to add some texture and buying ribbon can get expensive. I love this- think I'll look into it!
Other cheap idea: buy the 16x16 cardstock at the craft store, trace a large dinner plate and cut out. Wrap it into a cone, glue, attach 12 inches of ribbon looped to the back. Go pick some wildlowers or wheat or long-stemmed grass to put in, or silk or real flowers.
