 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? It felt and looked perfect when I put it on, it made me feel like a princess! It's from the David's Bridal collection style # 9V9010

How many did you try on before finding it?
This was actually the second dress I tried on

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?
I went almost $200 above budget, but my FMIL and FI grandma helped me

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?
I love it even more!

          I LOVED how it looked on me + it made my soon to be sister in law cry.

How many did you try on before finding it?
          I only tried on 3 in total and that was the second dress that I tried on twice.
          I could not imagine trying on tons of dresses.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?
          Way within my budget

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?
          When I bought it I did not love it, just liked. It took me until my 2nd fitting to LOVE it and now I know 100%, it's THE ONE

I got it from David's Bridal. I love how it spits in the front with the sheer fabric overlay. And I love the intricate beading on it.

How many did you try on before finding it?

It was about the 8th dress I tried on. I loved it, but I wanted to see a few other dresses before deciding. I knew it was the one when I kept asking to see other dresses that looked just like that one :-)

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?

I bought the dress at a good price, only to get an email from David's two days later. They were having that $99 dress sale and EVERY dress is marked down at least some. So I called them up and asked if and how much my dress was being marked down. Turns out, they were marking it $50 off what I paid. They agreed to take that $50 off my total, since the sale was so close to when I bought it. Not bad for one phonecall :-) So all in all, it ended up being exactly 50% off the sticker price and I stayed well in budget.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?

I love it even more now. I'm so happy I picked this dress. Even if my budget was larger, I doubt I'd consider another dress.

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? I chose my dress because it was simple and affordable. Bill Levkoff is the designer- I think its 555- originally a bridesmaid dress- I I'm dressing it up with funky crinoline.

How many did you try on before finding it? maybe like 5 or 6-- lamesauce I know.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? it was right in what I wanted to spend on it/

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? ya know I gotta say-- when I see everyone else's dress and I see how pretty they are with their embroidery and lace and big poofy-ness I start thinking how plain and boring my dress is. 
But when I go for my fittings and I put my dress on, with my orange crinny and my shoes--- I'm like, " This is me :o) " 

I wouldn't look right in any other kind of dress-- and that reminds me that I made the right choice! 
(which reminds me that that's how marriage is going to go :oP )

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? It had everything that I was looking for in one dress - ruching, sweetheart neckline, beaded belt, buttons on the back, a full skirt, and pockets! - and it was under budget. It was the first dress to really make me feel like a bride. It is Mori Lee 4524.

How many did you try on before finding it? A lot - probably 30 or 40 dresses at 6 different salons.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? It was definitely within the budget. The dress was $450 and I wanted to keep it under $800.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? Absolutely.

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? I chose my dress because of the way it fit like it was made for me, even before any alterations were made. I think it is made by Moonlight.

How many did you try on before finding it? I tried on maybe 8 or 9 others first.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? Actually this dress was had a price tag of $1100, but because it was last years style, I got it for $300, so waaaaay under budget.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? I did not love it, in fact I was terrified for months afterward that I bought the wrong dress. Then when I started going in a few months ago for the fittings, I realized it is the dress for me and do love it.

Paloma Blanca 4006. I originally wanted something with an empire waist, some lace up top, buttons down the back and a bow in the back. The lady at the salon put me in this style (with a drop waist, which I never thought I would want) and I fell in love. It has a sweetheart neckline, rouching down the dropped waist, some fullness in the skirt but not a full on ballgown skirt, and the fabric is a silk dupioni. I love the raw look of the silk. 

How many did you try on before finding it?

I tried on about 10 at the first salon and then at the 2nd salon it was the second dress I tried on. I went to about 3 salons afterwards and tried on maybe 20-25, because I'm an indecisive person and I wanted to be absolutely sure!

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?

Stayed in budget

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?

I do. Sometimes I still look at dresses that look like what I originally thought I wanted and think they are so pretty but then I remember that they just didn't look right on me. All the dresses with lace and tulle and chiffon and bows made me feel like a little girl playing dress up (I look very young and am 5 ft tall), and the dress I have makes me feel like a bride and a woman. I love it and I can't wait to wear it!

Because I wanted a dress in white with navy color trim. I bought Alfred Angelo Style 1612, A line with a corset back & lots of beading detail on the semi-cathedral train. I tried on several designers including AA, but this is the one that made me feel like a bride.  I got all teary eyed :) The A line fits my shape perfectly

How many did you try on before finding it?
About 25 or so. 

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?
I went about $200 over my original budget intent.  The dress was tagged $749, the shop sold it to me for $699

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?

Yes! I had several alerations completed, and I should be able to try it on and bring it home next Sat!!!

How many did you try on before finding it? It was the second dress I tried on, the first time ever trying on dresses. I tried on about 10 dresses that day. But with everyone I tried on after it my love for the dress grew and grew.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? I didn't have a budget. We havent had a budget this whole wedding. But my dress was def within a range that I find reasonable. ($550)

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? I DO! I've had my two fittings and both times I looked in the mirror and just smiled. I love it. It's perfect. It's me. I feel like a million bucks in it. And I know FI's heart is going to skip a beat when he sees me in it!

How many did you try on before finding it?I am thinking like 3. when I ordered it without trying it on

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?I was not told a budget but I would assume I am under budget.  it was 217.00 with alterations

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? Yes I do I do sometimes think I should have tried on other styles and everything with the beeds and lace but I think the plain simple is more my style

I chose it because it made me want to dance when I put it on.  It was so soft and flowy that I felt like I could curl up in it- not that I would.  It's a Marisa, style 737, but I did some custom modifications.  It had no beading on it, just some lace.






How many did you try on before finding it? I think it was the 2nd or 3rd dress I tried on, but until I decided on the custom beading, I wasn't sure I wanted it.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?  It was actually under my budget.  I thought I wanted a Jim Hjelm I saw in a magazine

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? I love it more.  I didn't know exactly how my combination of dresses would turn out until I saw it in person- 6 months later.  I can't wait to put it on again

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? I just loved the way it looked on me. I don't know. It was just perfect. It's a private collection from the shop where I got it. It is a trumpet style with lots of lace and beading.

How many did you try on before finding it? It was the first one I tried on. I tried on others after it, but I went back to that one.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? I stayed within the budget. I didn't want to spend more than $1,000 and it ended up being nine fifty something after tax.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? I absolutely do. I had my first fitting last week and it looked just as great this time as it did before!

I picked it off the rack because it was exactly what I was looking for - the right silhouette, simple and classic with ruching at the waist.  I chose it because when I put it on, I knew.  It's Mikaella, stye 1239.

How many did you try on before finding it?
It was the first one I chose, but the third (and last) one I tried on.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?
I went maybe $150 over budget, which I consider to be in budget.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?

We are having a rockabilly/ pin up themed wedding and after looking forever I found one I loved on pinupgirlclothing.com. ABSOLUTELY not traditional & not white.(I know, I know!)

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? My sweet sis-in-law and brother got it for me for Christmas. She only thought it right because my Mom had made her dress & passed in 2006. her words were, "I don't have your mom's sewing skills. So just let us know what you'd like" So sweet of them! It was way under what I thought I'd spend.

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? I felt so good in it right away.  It was light and I felt like I could dance.  It is a 2Be and the style is Liz.  I liked that it had my name on it. :)

How many did you try on before finding it?  I would say 15-20 at two different places.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?  I didn't really go into it with a set budget, but I do think it was a bit of splurge. 

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?  I was kind of scared to see it when it first came in, but loved it even more.

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? I put it on and it was something I could really see FI loving. It's from Lazaro, I don't remember the style number, but it's ivory, A-line, no beeding, a simple brooch on the hip and has a pleated, flowy skirt.

How many did you try on before finding it? I think about 10 altogether.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?  My parents were paying and did not give me a budget.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?  Uhm, I've gone through cycles with it, loving and hating it. When I first tried MY dress on, I hated it, it was way too big, kept falling off, looked funny, but once I tried it on when it was fitted right, I LOVED it again.

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? My dress is by Demetrios, style #4272.  Loved the style - sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves, beading around the bust, soft, flowy chiffon.  I saw it on the cover of a magazine and fell in love - hard.  I couldn't stop thinking about it, compared all the other dresses I looked at to this one...I was on a mission.  I tracked it down at a store to try on and as soon as I put it on I knew it was it.  Just different, a little more casual and perfect for my Cape Cod wedding.

How many did you try on before finding it? I tried on about 4 dresses at a Davids Bridal to appease my mother lol.  But none of them worked and I knew in my heart this one was it. 

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? didn't really have a budget for my dress but after alterations, etc, this was a little more than I anticipated spending initially.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? Yes!!  If not more now that the length has been hemmed for me, the bustle is done, and I have lost some weight!

How many did you try on before finding it? Too many to count. I went to 30 stores and tried on at least 5 at each store.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? I got lucky and stayed in my budget. But I was about to break it because I couldn't find what I wanted so I thought I had to up the ante.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? yes!!!

 Why did you choose your wedding dress?  Who is the designer and what is the style? It was the dress that made my mom cry and the ivory/champagne colors were different but still had the "traditional" feel and look. It's casablanca style 1927

How many did you try on before finding it? Probably 10 but I pretty much knew that was THE ONE even after I went to a couple other stores. I just kept thinking about it and comparing all the others to it.

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget? I knew I didn't want to spent over $1000 and it was a little over $900 with tax.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it? I love it even more! It's beautiful and I feel like it was made for me! I want to wear it all the time...not just one day!

It such a beautiful dress, with such rich fabric, and the quality is fantastic! It's simple, classic, something I don't think I'll look back on in 40 years and say "what was I thinking?" It's a Pronovias - Georgia.

How many did you try on before finding it?
I'm not sure. It was the third shop I'd been do, maybe 30 or so?

Did you splurge or stay within your original budget?
It depends on what budget you look at, I started a budget right after we got engaged (we will be engaged 26 months when we get married), and I wasn't sure what things would cost, that budget was $700, I upped my budget later to $1000, and my dress came in at $800. I thought that was pretty good for a name brand designer.

Do you still love it as much as when you found it?
Yes, my mom has gotten me so many bridal magazines, and I haven't found a dress in any of those pictures that I would rather have. I LOVE my dress!

My dress is design by myself and custom-made by shopforlover.com, and I like my dress very much. Before I want to buy one dress, I got to many wedding dress store, I try one by one, at last, I find two dress. But I like one's sleeves and the other's train, I ask the seller if they can combin the two dress together, then she recommended me shopforlover.com , then I contact with the people there, they said they can custom-made any style dress for me. I am very thankful  for the people's helping.
