The FI and I have been looking for a treadmill on Craigslist, maybe we'll find more after January when everyone gives up on their resolutions.  But yea, that looks like a good cardio intervel training to start out.  If you have a smartphone, there are tons of running apps that will keep time for you and play your music (Couch to 5k to name one).

oh cool!  My FI runs outside with the dogs, and loves running apps, he keeps trying to get me to download one.  I'm more of a gym runner so I can watch Real Housewives of (Insert here)

I admire you to be able to do this.  I don't think that I ever could.  I have exercised induced asthma so when I try to run I can hardly breathe and then then the rest of the day I feel like crap.

Awesome... I'm definitely going to try that out!  I hate working out on my own; I much prefer classes.  I'm too ADD to be on one machine that long haha.  But that seems like it would keep you going with all the intervals!

I second C25K.  I'm on week 4 and feeling fabulous.  I have found a new love for running (we're talking, I dream about it haha) and plan to train for a half when I've completed C25K.  Great program :)

Jenn - you use a stripper to work out?  Or you strip to work out?  I'm confused.  lol

I need to get myself to do the treadmill thing more, I just can't bring myself to spend much time on one... when I want to go running, I do so with my puppy outside... for some reason I find I get bored on the treadmill lol
  • Options
The only way I can use the treadmill is in front of the TV or I get bored really fast.
I am sure your plan would be very effective murphanzo, but if I tried to run on the treadmill at those speeds I would probably going flying back and end up crashing into the wall!!!  I do like intervals though.

If you are bored on the treadmill, try stripping like Jenn does.

I really need to start running but I just hate it so much lol!  FI got a new fighter training system so I think I might use that in addition to Zumba for my workouts. I just actually need to get off my butt and do it now! LOL

Is this going to be like one of those videos on YouTube where some girl is trying to be cool and use a stripper pole and falls flat on her face? I know I'd laugh if I saw that! FYI...I proof read my post and the iPad autocorrected "fals flat" to Allstate. Not as good as Jenn's but I wanted to let y'all know it does happen to others. :)
