When me and my FI decided to have a destination wedding we chose a to have our wedding on June 21st. The date is significant because it is a month after his birthday and a month and three days before mine. Also a Thrusday allows people to work Monday and Tuesday and come Wednesday.

Is anyone else have a week day destination wedding?

I am getting married on a Thursday. We really liked the date...10/11/12. Plus it fit perfectly into our work schedule.

A girl can never have enough tickers...

We got married on a Monday. With a destination wedding it doesn't really matter when it is!

We are getting married on a friday! Like PP said it doesn't matter much with a DW since people are traveling and taking a vacation anyways.

Yup, we're Monday people. We needed a couple of days to get our license and for other people to fly in, but we didn't want to wait too long into the vacation to do it. Who wants a honeymoon before the wedding?? :)

We are getting married on a Wednesday. The date May 16th meant something to us because we went to Vegas and while there we had fake wedding pics made up on May 16th 2009. When the month of May was decided to go to Hawaii our wedding date had to be the 16th!
