Centerpieces

Hello Ladies,

I am a newly engaged bride whos wedding will be Thanksgiving weekend of this year, Nov 30th, 2013. I believe I am having dark purple, almost like an eggplant, color for my bridesmaides dresses with an amber color for an accent. I have some amber colored hurricanes, but I am struggling to find amber colored TALL vases, where I can put some flowers in them, for a few table's centerpieces, yet have the people sitting at the table still see eachother. I don't want to pay a lot, and am only looking for 5-8. Does anyone have or know where I could find these?

If the color is really important to you, would you be OK with putting the glass filler in the bottom of a clear vase? Or, just have the dark yellow/amber flowers and purple flowers in a clear vase?
