I would just start a collection of photos and bring them in to a salon and ask if someone is able to give you that look. Definitely do a trial run to see how it's going to look.

Ditto-- take pics with you. Sometimes you will be surprised what they can come up with. I'd try your local board, too. People can suggest really good stylists.
