We are having a June wedding in a gazebo, our reception is being held at a clubhouse on a cliff, overlooking a beach.

And my fiance is demanding red and black be our colors. I just can't "see" it and if I can't see it, I don't think I can get behind it. I'm so bummed out.

This is my second wedding, his first. Honestly, I really don't *want* to have a wedding and waste a lot of money for one day when we could just have a huge party (without all the wedding "stuff"). I'd be happy. I'm basically doing this all for him, so I should just do red and black, suck it up and move on.... but I have no inspiration with those colors. And he has no input, nor does he care about ANYTHING else.

Soooo frustrated :(

I had everything planned out in my head out night, then I told him and it was a huge let down. So I talked him into only demanding red. Red and Turquoise it was. Then I discovered that I can't find the same shade of turquoise/aqua/teal in every thing. Now I'm stuck back with red and black :( I did get the okay for polka dots at least.

sigh...

I've found some photos for your inspiration. Maybe add another color in?

Also, not everything will be the same turquoise/teal/aqua colors. So many use all three? Just different shades?

My wedding was always going to be red, black, and white. I'm getting married next April and decided to bring in some yellow diasies to "Spring" it up a bit. Don't worry about the season though. THere are lots of things to do with red and turquoise. Good luck!!!
