You can take branches you find in your yard or parents yards, etc.  Buy some clear beads that would reflect light.  Glue the beads onto the branches, put the branches into tall clear cylindar vases and then put tealights around the table to let the light reflect off of the beads on the branches.

Or buys some quart sized mason jars and put a votive candle in each one and tie a ribbon at the top of the jar in one of your wedding colors.

See if you can find some cheaper watering cans... and maybe put some flowers in them?

Ohh I like the watering cans idea! Maybe tall clear vases (at the dollar store) with tomatoes in them?

Like this, but with tomatoes:

I am getting my flowers from a wholesaler.. if you know anyone who does/did flower arranging they can help you on the day of the event.
I am also using vintage vases from thrift stores in different sizes. Since you are having a garden wedding (like mine) I think having the flowers arranged yourself is a good option.. makes it "organic".
My quote for flowers was 70% less this way than from a florist :)

Make it simple for an outdoor wedding. Go to the Dollar Store and get the vases. They have some great ones and you can't go wrong for a buck. Then go to Costco, or Sams and buy their flower arrangements. ( you can pick them up a day or two before and they still look great come your wedding day)The run between $15.00 - $20.00 and are big enough that you could split them between two vases. Add votive candles.    My friend did her reception flowers for less than $200.00 and that included the votives and bought all her flowers from Whole Foods.

We are doing potted plants for tulips. Since, a lot of bulb plants start blooming in spring they should be easy to find (we are doing tulips). We are just going to transfer them to nice white pots and maybe add some moss over the dirt. Afterwards, my family/friends can take the centerpieces and replant them outside and have something that comes back for years (hopefully) so they are doing double duty as centerpieces and favors. We are also doing mason jars (canning family) with lots of votives.
