 My fiance and I are getting married in June (next year).  I love the color red so I want to use that as my color, but I also want to use use black and silver as accents.  Are black and silver ok for a June wedding?

 Depends on how you use the colors.  Are your bridesmaids wearing red, silver or black?  I would have the BMs in silver with red bouquets and the GM in black tuxes with silver ties/vests with red boutinnieres.  JMO

Most of June is still in the springtime.

I also think that people get too caught up in whether or not colors go with a season or month. I've been to a ton of weddings and never once have I thought "Wow..those colors are so not spring".

I'm getting married in June 2012 and our colors are blue and yellow with sunflowers.

Do what you want. Your colors sounds lovely!

 I'm getting married June 2, 2012 and our colors are red, black and white. They're his favorite colors and I think they look clean and simple. Do whatever makes you happy though! I agree COMPLETELY with midgetthemighty

June may be springtime...but the temperatures across the country vary.  If you put on a black dress on a 100 degree day...regardless of what time of year it is...its going to be hot.  We, here, have had two heat waves before the 15th of June--we are not even in the south.  I never said anything was wrong with her colors--I just suggested how to use them...just in case its 'strangely' hot during June..spring or summer.

 It depends on the hue of the color. You can have the BM's wear black or red dresses and a soft fabric like chiffon or organza makes it look more "springy" (not that you can't use other frabrics.. by all means...). I would use silver as an accent color but that's just me. I think silver dresses look more "wintery, you could do gray?

Hmmm, black dresses with red bouquets and silver jewelry and silver bouquet ribbon? Sounds like Hollywood glamour or just plain fabulous! 

You can make anything work.

 What about something like this?

and just add some silver. You can increase or decrease the formality, but I think this board shows that these colors actually can go quite nicely together. As another poster said, as long as the BM dresses aren't black I think your color idea is great.

 I think it sounds just fine and you can do whatever colors you want in whatever month. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. But if you yourself are afraid it'll look too dark maybe just use more of the silver and red and less black... or add a color like light blue or yellow to brighten it up :)

 our Wedding is June 8th,2013, we are doing a romantic spring theme.. our colors orginally came from our favorite colors.. his Clover green and mine are pink.
