Spring Wedding Colors?

I want to do yellow but some of my bridal party may not look good in yellow what to do?

I already have 6 bridesmaid including maid of honor. I promised her years ago she'd be in my wedding if I were to get married. How else can I include her? Any passages from the bible maybe to read allowed???? I just dont know and can not break her heart......

Could you do 3 of them in yellow and 3 in another color? or mix it up with a couple spring colors? light pink, blue, green, etc... I think that could look pretty...pastel colors.

Would it hurt her feelings if she didn't do anything else in the wedding? My MOH isn't doing anything else besides being my MOH (and planning showers, but that doesn't have to do w/the ceremony and she took it upon herself)...but she was ECSTATIC when I asked her, and said she felt very honored.

I wanted a color (cinnamon) that didn't look good on all of them so half are in that and half are in a dark purple and they look awesome together and everyone's happy

That't way too many questions for one post. Wow! Maybe TK is playing a trick on me, but your 2 posts ended up in the same thread and its a bit confusing.

Colors: A lot of people don't look good in yellow. You chould have a beautiful spring wedding theme by letting your BP pick dresses in any pastel color, with the same style of dress. That way, each can pick a color that flatters them

Kid: You don't have to include her, but if you want to she can read, or be a bridesmaid. Even sides don't matter.

Sarah, mine is posted as two separate questions in the same thread as well.

Colors: My colors were yellow and peach, so I love yellow. I'd hope that if I saw my friends looking awful in yellow, I'd change to a color that complemented yellow and have their dresses in that color, and perhaps use yellow are my accent color: flowers, table linens, etc.

As for the 11 year old: she can be an FG, or a BM, if you really want her as a member of the WP. And of course she could do a reading. We have kids read scripture in church all the time.

Dresses: What about asking all of your BMs to wear black dresses, and then get some really beautiful, bright yellow flowers for them. You could accent the dresses with a yellow sash if you would like.

Kid: She could be a FG, reader, or a BM.
