What does the dress look like? My BMs are wearing very similar dresses to what you described. Pink is a great accent color, so is purple.

Pink is the first color that pops in to my mind. Also check out the websites for color help that the mod has posted for more ideas.

I've seen photos of a pewter and soft yellow theme. It looked very classy.

I like the idea of yellow. If you can get a sample swatch from David's Bridal with the color of the BM dress you would take it to a paint store to get some ideas.

A warm yellow along the lines of saffron or marigold or even honey or butter looks great with dark greys like pewter.

We're going with pewter and orange for our colors. Im going to incorporate turquoise, yellows and bright greens into it too..I just havent figured that all out yet.
Pewter/gray is pretty neutral so you can pick anything as an accent color. Try googleing "gray weddings" and click on image search... Personally I love the deep purple but my guy isnt crazy about it. Have fun, you have TONS of options :)

Yellow! I have never seen this done, but it's what I'm thinking of doing. I think dark gray dresses would be so pretty with yellow flowers, and maybe even yellow shoes!

David's Bridal Pewter is one of my colors. the color that I am accenting it with is the rose petal color from David's Bridal. I heard they are discontinuing it, However, you can find a TON of things with in that shade of pink :)

My colors are yellow and a dark gray with alot of black and white accents. We're using a lot of lemons and babies breath in the centerpieces. I must say, it looks pretty awesome:)
