If you're planning a wedding between June and August, here's the place to chat with other summer brides.

We are getting married the end of July this summer.  It is a 5:30/6pm ceremony outside and the reception is inside a ballroom.  I am naturally drawn to blue so I was thinking of a royal blue

We are getting married the end of July this summer. It is a 5:30/6pm ceremony outside and the reception is inside a ballroom. I am naturally drawn to blue so I was thinking of a royal blue for the BMs and various shades of yellow gerber daisies for the flowers (Daisies are my favorite flower).

What do you think of the combo?

And what colors would the MOB and MOG wear?

I think the navy blue is an awsome color. I am actually getting married in July as well and i decided to go with a blue torquoise and a burnt orange accented with creme.

I'm a July bride as well and navy blue is one of my colors as well as yellow being an accent color. I think that sounds fine.

my wedding isnt untill next year, but i am going with blue as well :D i really like the cream idea. Maybe the MOB and MOG could wear a cream dress or a dress with both blue and cream? I dont know if its just me, but im always worried that if i use too much blue, that it'll look like a saliors party, or a boys birthday party. does anyone else have the same concern?
