Ok ladies so heres my challenge...

We are doing our reception at a beautiful golf & country club...the room is very beautiful with lots of natuaral lighting (floor to ceiling windows), muted yellow wall colour and muted gold leaf chivari chairs. I have already visited the colour palette link that the moderator has posted...

My question for you all is this:

I really wan to incorporate shades of gray/silver into my colour scheme, what other colour might you suggest I use with gray/silver that will work with and not against the wall & chair colours?

My first choice is purple since it is the complementary color to yellow on the color wheel. Definitely do a lighter shade since your room is a lighter shade of yellow.

Have you thought about doing a light grey, white, and light yellow scheme? If done right, it can be very chic.

why not take the colors that are already in there and use them with your gray/silver?
I'm also having my wedding at a golf course and the walls are like a sage green so we're using that with a blue and white. It only makes sense to take the colors of your environment and try to work with them and/or incorporate them.

A shade of green would work well with silver/gold too. But really, since all colors are pretty neutral anything would really work, right?

even a deep or royal blue would be nice. i like the idea of purple though
