I really love how summery and fresh it looks but I'm having such a difficult time finding inspirational pictures! Also, I want lavender bridesmaid dresses but they always come off too purple-gray and I don't know if I like yellow dresses.

I love the color combo! When you are doing an image search, try typing "purple weddings" or "yellow weddings" instead of "purple and yellow weddings". You may get more results by doing it that way.

Regarding the BM dresses, are you viewing these dresses online or in person at a store?

I really like those colors together. I totally know what you mean about the lavender-gray borderline though. I think I would just err on the side of a slightly darker dress if you're worried about it. And like pp said, it makes a big difference depending on if you're looking at the dress in person versus onscreen AND even in different lighting situations. We're doing navy dresses and at times they almost look black, but when you get them out into the sun they definitely look more navy.

Oh okay, I'll try that search idea! I have been looking at them in person and online. I think I'll just have to go with a slightly darker shade. I didn't even think about how the lighting may be affecting it. Thanks! :)

We our doing yellow and purple. Bright yellow and normal purple to dark purple. We will have different shades of dark purple but no light purples (lavender, lilac etc..) It's really pretty together. I love the brightness of the colors, I think it will look so pretty in the summer!

I really like the colors. I'm getting married in the summer and we are having bright summer colors. I think your colors look more like a formal summer wedding. Our is going to be more casual.

i was doing the purple, yellow and hints of green for my outisde wedding in 7/2012 but i thought it would be too much as well....was thinking of changint to purple, cream and white myself.
