Night photos?

My photographer said it wasn't a problem. She said to have a well lit area if we are doing group shots so we are going to the local college campus. I know there is know problem doing it, I just get nervous b/c whenever you look at people's wedding picts they are all outside in daylight so it's hard to get an idea of what we'll see.We'll be doing shots with me and my BM's and FI with his GM's during the day but group shots and the photos of us will be at night outside.
