hey ladies. what are you doing for your winter centerpieces? We've crossed the ideas of a white tree made out of flowers ( there's a picture here on the knot) or just tree branches drapped with crysta

hey ladies. what are you doing for your winter centerpieces? We've crossed the ideas of a white tree made out of flowers ( there's a picture here on the knot) or just tree branches drapped with crystals or maybe like a tall cylinder with the round christmas ball ornaments in them. but what are you ladies doing or brainstorming on ?!

We got married on 2-12 last year.  We did vases filled with "jelly balls", with a lit orange LED glowing inside. Each vase had 3 or 4 silver branches coming out of it.  There were two candles on each table, so the sparkles on the branches caught the light of the candle.  Also the vases had a black bow with a silver snowflake on it.

I thought they came out really nicely.  In my dream, it was a winter forest.  In reality it wasn't as dramatic as I'd hoped, but at least I could afford it!  Heehee.

We're doing 3 ft silver glitter trees with hanging gems and then votives around it on half the tables and on the other half we're doing three candles in votives with 3-d snowflakes mixed inbetween around the hurricanes. I'm really excited about them!

I found a really neat picture to use ornaments for centerpieces. Possibly in a vase? I love the idea for me.

I am getting married this Jan. I found a DIYway to ice branches. I plan to "ice" my branches and then lay them on dark navy table runners. I also have white luminaries that wil be in the table with battery teal lights inside.

I am getting married tomorrow.  I did the ornaments in a tall vase.  I kind of wove ribbon around in the vase as well.  I like it.  I got lots of super cheap ornaments at walmart right before Christmas last year.  I think they look awesome because they are cheap, but I got different textures and patters, and some of them are glittery.

We are using almost all candles -- we have lanterns with blue and green glass. With that and other decorations from the ceremony and stuff, we're kind of going for an "enchanted forest" kind of thing.

We just bought the materials for our DIY centerpieces today!  In all we spent around $300.  2 different sized huge hurricane style candle holders 55% off at kohls, normally $50 and $80 each.  Then we got these cool battery operated blue LED lights at Target for 50% off, $3.50 each.  We got a BUNCH of blue and silver ornaments, all different sizes and styles, all 50% off at Lowes.  We also got fancy ribbon to tie around the candle holders.  It'll look much neater when we actually do it.  What do you ladies think, fancy enough?

I got married about 3 weeks ago. None of our tables had matching center pieces. There were lots of candles and copper and bronze pieces. My dad cut up pecan branches and used them as stands and smaller filler. A few lanterns and some pretty bowls and trays with a few flowers in them. The whole idea theme whatever for our wedding was warmth.

For my sister and brother-in-law's wedding ten years ago (wow!  can't believe it's been that long!) we glued rhinestones to white candles that were three different heights.  We put them on a bed of epsom salts (to look like snow) on a clear glass plate and tucked greenery in between the candles. Since it was right before Christmas, we threw in a few clear glass, silver, and pale blue ornaments. The tablecloths, napkins, and chaircovers were white, and my sister picked a shimmery pale blue chair tie.  Turned out beautiful for what my parents paid.  Just lots of glowing candles and what looked to be sparkling snow.
