Has anyone done a home restore for their mother's gown/veil/lace? Unfortunately my mother's dress was not preserved properly and has gotten yellowed. I read online that you can fill a tub with colder water with Woolite and place a white sheet down in the water. The idea is to then place the gown on the sheet then raise and lower and soak for no more than 24 hours. Just wondering if anyone tried anything like this and if it worked or not?
