Hello all,

Any other Illinois same-sex couple's out there as excited as we are for the new bill????

 We were planning to go to Iowa after our ceremony to have it done legally, and now we do not have to do that..and it will go into effect just before our August wedding..... Feels good to be a planning our wedding that can actually be called a marriage!!!!!! I cannot wait!!!! .. WHOO HOO!!!!

We're so excited!  Getting married on June 1st (which is also our 15 year anniversary).  The planning has been so much fun!
