Went dress shopping for the first time yesterday and ended up buying one! I wasn't planning on buying one just yet, but I fell completely in love with one...and I'm a very decisive, "if I love it, then it's good enough and I don't need to look anymore" type of person.
Here are two dresses that were in the running, but which I did not end up purchasing:
I can't remember which brand this was, but I loved the vintage lace and the way it fit me (with the help of a few pillows stuffed down the back!).
Bernadette by Maggie Sottero. I really liked this one...I have a feeling that if it had fit better I would have fallen in love with it. I loved the back, I just hated not being able to tell how it would lay on me.

here). I LOVE IT! It has elements of all the dresses I saw in magazines and loved...lace illusion neckline, fit & flare shape, and a hint of vintage charm and sparkle. I can't wait until mine comes in so I can actually try it on in my size!!
