I hurt my ankle pretty bad last Thursday at soccer, but after a day of RICE I could walk on it. I have been limping on it and then realized it was worse than I thought after I got over my cold (I was on meds for the cold and didn't really feel the pain). I went to the doctor today and told a few people (because I had to reschedule things) who teased me for going to the doctor! Seriously?! I may not show you that I'm in pain all the time, but I've had ankle injuries and this one was worse. Turns out that I fractured my ankle. But the frustrating part is that the doctor didn't notice on the Xrays so I found out by an email from the radiologists and am waiting to hear when my appointment is with the foot specialist. So I guess I just wanted to vent because my foot aches and it hurts and I wish I would have seen the doctor today instead of having to wait. It is hard to schedule these around my classes and my office hours.
