Wedding Catering under $3,000

Hey ladies,

I am having a hell of a time trying to find delicious catered food for our wedding of 85-100 guests. 

I have tried CN Catering, which was ridiculously expensive but such good food.

Culinary Art Catering did not impress me at all. My fiance and I went to an open house and the food was just finger foods and not really anything we were blown away by.

Amazing Caterers had so-so food, but bad presentation.

We are not picky people at all, but would prefer American food most likely. I'm not opposed to Mexican or Italian though! I just want something that my guests will love, without breaking the bank since we are paying for everything ourselves. Any ideas?

Carino's gave me a good quote.  We are doing a tasting in a couple of weeks.

i think we are going to do thornhill catering for our sept wedding. we got quoted doing a petit sirloin (6oz) or chicken piccata, fetticuine alfredo, salad, tea and bread for 150 guests under 3k. we did a tasting and the food was great.

We used Allie's catering and loved her! Food was delicious:) I think it was $10-$12 pp

Do you plan on having the caterer serve alcohol or will it you BYOB?  We had Gil's Elegant Catering.  They also hold various open houses and they may be just within your budget.

We are doing Rudy's BBQ - it comes with 3 meats and 3 sides for $11.99 per person.  Delicious food at a good price!

So we finally decided on Black Eyed Pea for our catering! They had super reasonable rates, and the catering manager Heather is a joy to work with. The food is absolutely delicious as well! Thank you everyone for your help!
