Less than 30 People Venues

Hi, my fiance and I are wanting to have a very small, less than 30 people wedding here in Indianapolis, or surrounding areas. It seems most locations are only for huge weddings, and with only 30 people we aren't looking to spend a lot of money on just the location. Our wish is to do a small ceremony and a small sitdown dinner. I would LOVE to have both outside and at the same location since most of our guests will be from out of town. Any ideas on where to look? I have about 3 venues that could work, but would love to have more to choose from. Thank you all Happy Planning!

I don't know how you feel about being in a public place, but have you thought about the canal downtown?

The Mavris is one of my favorite venues but out of our price range. It may not be as much for a smaller group but I'm not sure. They have a rooftop garden that has a nice view of downtown.

The Eiteljorg also has a nice outdoor space for smaller weddings, too.

And, I don't know much about the pricing at the zoo but from pictures I've seen it's a nice outdoors wedding venue.

I can't think of any outdoor venues, but if you don't mind doing indoor, The Rathskeller has several rooms for smaller events that are really nice. You can do both the ceremony and reception there.

Late to the party, but The Indianapolis Central Library has the Special Collections room on the 6th(?) floor that seat 60 banquet style. With 30, you could probably fit a dance floor as well, if you wanted. Not outdoors, but with the floor to ceiling windows, the view is gorgeous! I'm not sure this idea would work for you, because the ceremony and reception are in two different places.  But, my ceremony is at Garfield Park Conservatory with standing room for 20 people only. Our reception is at Dave and Buster's, in Castleton.  I don't know what your budget is, but mine is only $3500, and these places were definitely budget friendly.
