Officiant and Alcohol

Weird combination I know, but these are the two things that I have not checked off my list.  I live in Pittsburgh, so I am trying to do everything from here.

Officiant-  We are getting married at Hocking Hills, and the three I have contacted are all booked for 6/21.  I am definitely getting a little nervous.

Alcohol-  I am getting a keg, but I need wine for the wedding.  It will be a small reception with about 50 people, but I need some.  The more I can buy there, the better.  I am trying to limit what we have to bring in from Pittsburgh.

Have you looked for someone in Athens or Nelsonville?  Both communities are relatively close to Hocking HIlls.    There is a winery in Athens County too.  It's called Shade Winery.  Not sure how far it would be from your venue, but it's worth a phone call.  GL!

If we would have been able to do our own wine, we could have bought from some wineries in Napa/Sonoma.  The wines out there are aaaaamaazing (way better than what you can get local, IMO) and it's only a penny to ship a case

I have the list at home, but two are local to hocking hills.  The other is Chase waits?  I think that is his last name.  I got his name off of these boards.  I contacted someone from marrymecolumbus, so I will be calling her later.  Apparently, she is free that day.

I will definitely have to look into the shade winery, thank you for the suggestion
