Hey All! I saw ideas on Pinterest for post card STD.. I love this! Cheaper on postage and I think it's adorable! Any ideas for how I would pull this off? Templates, printing, etc. I'm trying to be as affordable as possible and getting the best bang for my buck! - and I want it to look nice! Not sure I should really print myself or what.

Most invitation companies have a postcard STD option. I would check Vistaprint for a good deal on them.

I just used Uprinting for mine and paid $77 for 150 cards and that included shipping!!! The quality is spectacular as well

I used VistaPrint postcards for my STDs, response cards & Xmas cards. Postcards save a ton in postage and people seem to really like them

I sent out postcard STDs. So I love the idea. But I will warn you that more than a few of our guests didnt get their postcards or didnt notice them in their mail. I assume that the postcard got stuck in with those junk mailers or a newspaper. Just something to be aware of.

I did mine at Vistaprint as well.  Great quality and price.  I designed it and just uploaded it on their blank template for both sides.  Very easy.

Magnetstreet.com has excellent prices on postcard STDs and you can probably find a promo code. They are who I used. Weddingpaperdivas.com also has great ones. Totally saves on postage, those things add up!

I made my own postcards. I found paper at the office supply store that was in standard sheet size but had the cuts in there to rip the paper into postcards, it was a heavier stock paper too. I opted for a textured finish too. I went into microsoft publisher on my computer and picked the option to design a postcard & just went from there. I made sure that our toner was fresh & printed away. I even turned them over and ran them through again to print our return address on the other side.

I had a few people ask me where I got them, I told them I had done them myself and they were shocked. They said they looked professionally printed. I just kept it simple & found a font that easy to read & fun and put hearts in two of the corners. Not counting the cost of the toner I did 100 STD for under $15.00

Another vote for vistaprint here!!

I designed and uploaded my own front side using our engagement picture and adding some text.  I really liked the backside of another one of their postcards, so I called them and they combined that backside with the front that I had created.  I paid $20 for 75 STDs including shipping.  The stamp cost more than the postcard, lol!  The postcards were great quality, and vistaprint has incredible customer service.

Vistaprint is the bomb! I also used them for my saved the dates and I loved them! Loved them so much I went back and ordered my invites and rsvp cards from them. Those turned out amazing as well! The quality is amazing and you can't beat the price!

My FSIL also used VistaPrint for their STD's. She just got them in and they are amazing! She did the magnets so I can only imagine the postcards will be awesome too. I had saw on here about their 50% off sale andtold her to order them then!
