80's/90's reception theme

I'm helping my soon-to-be sister-in-law plan her July wedding. She is thinking of an 80's/90's themed reception. Any suggestions/tips? There doesn't seem to be much of a budget, but I don't want to break her dad. Lol

    This sounds like it will be such a fun wedding! 

    We actually have a great blog post full of 90's inspired wedding ideas.  You should also check out this real wedding on the site - it has a really quirky 80's theme, complete with Pac-Man and Rubik's Cube boutonnieres!! 

    I've also put together an 80's and 90's wedding inspiration board that you and your future sister-in-law can check out for more ideas.  Some of my favorite ideas include mixtape escort cards, ring pop favors, and tables named after popular movies from the two decades like Titanic, The Breakfast Club, and Footloose.
