Looking for suggestions on where to host our January 2015 reception. The ceremony will be on a Saturday evening in LaPlace. I've seen lots of venues in New Orleans that fit our needs, but the consenus here seems to be that 45 minutes is too much travel time between the chruch and the reception. The church in LaPlace has a lot of signficance for my family, so I don't really want to move the ceremony location.
I'm considering Chateu Country Club but would like a few more options in case that doesn't work out. We're expecting about 50 people. Any suggestions, regardless of cost, are appreciated!
