How do you go about selling things?

My fiance was once engaged before but they (or she left him 2 days before the wedding), called off the wedding and there are things that he had such as 2 ringbearer pillows that I won't use, and a flower girl basket that I won't use as I am doing a pomander ball that we are trying to sell. Also, we have 4 dozen green 17 inch napkins that are still in the original sealed packaging that we can't use and won't use as our colors are grey and yellow and even if they were, our venue does not allow outside linens. Also we have some pink ribbon and pink favor boxes.

I just don't know if I have to start a website to post it or if I can even post it on here.

Either works.  I created a website (free with weebly.com) that included pictres, price and description.  In my mind pictures are a necessity, I won't buy it if I can't see what it actually looks like.
