Any other Mohunk Mountain brides out there?

We're getting married there this September. Having a hard time deciding on plated or buffet!

If guests cannot afford to stay at Mohonk, what's the nearest alternate/acceptable lodging?

@elle67 There are a few hotels in New Paltz, but I'm not sure which one is really the best. I know there are a ton of B&Bs in the area. A bunch of my friends actually opted to rent a house for the weekend through VRBO. Other than New Paltz, I've been told the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel is nice.

Thanks for the feedback. New Paltz is a bit far of a ride, isn't it? I'm not sure everyone would be in to B&B's.

Well, I guess it depends where you're coming from. It's about an hour and 10 minutes from where I live.
