woodland park zoo

My fiance and I are looking for places to get married with a guest of about 100-150 people. We ate both huge animal lovers and we're thinking about the zoo. Has any one had their wedding and or reception there? We are thinking of having both there to make it easier on everyone. Please let me know.

    They have very strict rules about music and how late your event can be. The aquarium might be a good place to check out too.

    I attended a wedding in the garden last sept. Would have been BEAUTIFUL if it wasn't for the horrible storm.

    Still held outdoors, but the tent didn't help a whole ton. The lighting was horrible. I assume that had it not rained so bad, the sunset would have made it a pretty time of day to be married there. Thankfully the bride and groom didn't let it bother them and stayed in good spirits despite it all.
     


    Lesson learned: if booking, ask about weather backups.
