Monday Progress Update - 03/31

This week was a fun week. I'm starting to feel like these Monday progress lists are going to start getting shorter because I'm running out of stuff to get done.

 - Had my bridal shower!!!

 - Had my make up and hair trial 

 - Did a trial spray tan

 - Started my weekly mani/pedis to get my nails in shape

 - Started receiving RSVP's

How about you ladies?

I also had my hair and makeup trial, which went pretty well, but I'm considering doing a trial with someone else before booking (just so I have something to compare to). Did any of you do this?

Started receiving RSVPs! I've been marking everything down in my master excel sheet as I go, too, hopefully I can keep that up! Definitely one of the best parts of wedding planning so far

I had my hair and makeup trial for my bridal shower and she arrived late! An hour late.... I'm still flipping out and I have considered other people but I've had her booked for months now, paid deposit and trial (not cheap!) so I don't know if I should just trust her awesome reviews and wish for the best... She did an amazing job.. Another reason why I wanna keep her... Besides that I ran out of things to do lol I have the seating chart and escort cards left but I'll do that closer to the date

@Lisandrat - Did she at least have a reason, like there was some horrible accident or something on the way there? That would stress me out a lot. 

@rjamison721 - I didn't do any comparing of trials, but I booked with my regular salon. I already know all the girls there and the work that they do so it wasn't really necessary.

-I had my shower as well! It went awesome, good food, good people, fun times.

-Filled out a form for our DJ

Made an apointment for my surprise budiour photos to give to FI for a wedding gift. I'm excited and nervous!

-Have gotten about 20 RSVP's so far. mostly yes.

I got alot done this past week 

- I had my make up trial done

- found the necklaces for my bridesmaids

- got ALL my jewelry bought and put in the safe

- made appointment to see the DJ next week for our final chat 

- sent out invites and started getting back some RSVPs

- chose pictures and sent them to our photographer for our guest book

This week I get to pick up my FI's ring and have my first dress fitting

Got my invites out, FINALLY! lol

All i have left now is getting WP presents, paying off vendors, and getting marriage license. I will also just have to create a wedding timeline, and wait to get RSVP'S in. Then I shall be good.

I didn't accomplish much this weekend wedding related.  Next weekend is my shower and the following is my hair trial.  I def need to start getting mani/pedi's so my nails are in good shape for the wedding.   And as bad as it is, i plan on going tanning  a few times.  

I still need to book a limo, which I just keep forgetting to do. and figure out favors.   Along with a bunch of random smaller things. 

My mom painted me a canvas for our guest "book" which i saw this weekend and love.  I had showed her some of the tree designs on etsy, where people sign the leaves and she said she could make it for me.  Came out great, so i'm excited because now it will be even more personal when I hang it in our house.

 

Our rsvp's slowed down, but still coming in here and there.  I think i got about 1/2 back, all accpeting , but they were all people I expected to say yes.  It's the one's i am waiting on that i'm unsure if they will come or not.

Today I spray painted 24 mason jars for the centerpieces and they look amazing. I finally found someone to do my hair. She will actually be coloring it on Friday. Tomorrow I pick my mom up from the airport cause my shower is on Saturday FI gift is at the engravers. My wooden signs for the wedding are done with being constructed. Now my mom and I just need to stain them then a friend will be doing the calligraphy. My RSVP responses have also slowed down a lot which is making me nervous lol. Anyways that's what I got done!

- made, ordered, received, addressed, stamped & mailed rehearsal dinner invites (thank you Zazzle for super quick turn-around!) - finished designing our programs and got the cardstock, just need to print, cut & assemble them - made a seating chart, but still waiting on a small handful of RSVPs so hopefully they are all YES and I don't have to redo that! - wrote my thank you cards for my MOH & my mom from the bridal shower (last ones done!) -finished going through wedding gifts from bridal shower, taking inventory of what we have, need, want, etc. and putting things away in cabinets

Finally started working on the ceremony. Begun the process of finalizing day of details. Im so over planning!

Me too! I said that a couple of weeks ago. I just want everything to be set so I can just enjoy these last few weeks before my wedding month

Rehearsal dinner and ceremony rehearsal booked. Were setting up the day before so it was no extra charge for us yo use the reception hall for the dinner. The added bonus is the cere mony location is same place, so were going to go set up, eat then head outside rehearse and go home. Makes my life easier for sure. We finalied the ceremony today also.

We got our marriage license, had an appointment with a florist, FI and his GM ordered their suits, and we picked out his wedding band

It was quite cute! We were excited but the two couples in front of us were very womp womp. We even took a picture in front of the sign that said "Marriage License Office"
