Direction of the veil comb?

I've decided that I'd like to wear a veil (one-tier, elbow length) but know that I'd really like to wear it hanging under my up-do rather than on top of my head. My stylist explained how important it is for the comb to go the right direction so it sits right. When shopping, though, none of the sites seem to say anything about the direction of the comb or how it should be worn. Am I overthinking this? Should I just buy what I like and resew the comb myself or just make my own veil?

You are overthinking it.  The comb is slightly curved so it is pretty obvious how it should be inserted into your hair.

Since you want to wear it under your updo your hairstylist will most likely slip in the comb and then bobby pin it into place so it won't slip out.

You can choose some hair clips or hair stickes to fix your veil. This won't affect your beauty.
