question about invitation wording.

Just had a question about the invitation wording, as to how to state to guests that there will be dinner served at the reception? Trying to finalize and get them printed and then mailed out accordingly. Advice is greatly appreciated.

If your ceremony and reception locations are one and the same, you can simply say "Dinner reception to follow," at the bottom of your invitation.

If your reception is at a different location you can include a separate, small insert. Something simple:

Dinner reception
to be held at six o'clock
Location name
Address
City, State

Ok thank you. This is all so stressful.

It is not good etiquette to describe the reception.  Generally, if you are being married anywhere near 6:00 PM, guests will assume there will be dinner at the reception.  "Reception to follow" is the most proper if your ceremony and reception are in the same location.
