I went on my HM to Valentin Imperial Maya in May 2012. We're planning on an anniversary trip later this year. We loved our resort, but their room prices have doubled since we went two years ago.
We have free airfare from Southwest and they fly to Cancun, Cabo, Nassau, and Aruba. I thought they flew to Punta Cana, but I'm not sure.
We loved VIM (specifically the grounds, the pool, and our super massive jacuzzi in the room with panoramic views of the ocean) but it also lacked some things I'd want.
I wasn't nuts about the food, I'd love to stay in a resort with an infinity pool, and some kind of waterfront dining. I'm thinking we could swing up to $300 a night for 7 nights.
Can anyone recommend an AI (anywhere, we don't care) with big jacuzzis, waterfront dining, infinity pools, and decent food?
